Accessibility Statement
supodo manager is the console for clubs and organisers: it is where organisations, events and short links are created and maintained. supodo aims to make it usable by everyone, regardless of ability or technology. Our benchmark is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and the European standard EN 301 549. This statement covers supodo manager itself. Signing in happens at auth.supodo.com, which is covered by the accessibility statement on supodo.com.
supodo consists of several products. Each has its own accessibility statement, because they are at different stages. An overview is on supodo.com: Accessibility statement on supodo.com.
Conformance status
supodo manager is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means some requirements are not yet fully met. The automated check reports zero violations on every view tested — signed in and signed out alike. We still do not say “fully conformant”, for two factual reasons. First, an automated check covers only part of the requirements: no machine can judge whether a screen reader announces feedback understandably. Second, we know of one point that the check only found at a narrow screen width. Both are listed below.
Non-accessible content
Despite our efforts, some limitations remain. Currently known:
- On the dashboard, deleted organisations are shown dimmed. That drops the “Deleted” marker to about 3.0:1 instead of the required 4.5:1. Affects WCAG 1.4.3. The colours themselves are fine; it is the dimming of the whole card that pushes the value down.
- The button for language and reading register shows “Deutsch • Standard”, but screen readers and voice control know it as “Anzeige-Einstellungen”. Anyone who calls it by the text they can see will not reach it. Affects WCAG 2.5.3 (level A). It comes from our shared component set, so the fix there applies to every supodo product.
- The “Leichte Sprache” (Easy Read) version is still being written and is not available yet. The “Standard” and “Einfache Sprache” versions are available.
- Some newer views are still being checked against WCAG 2.2 AA and improved.
Not yet tested
The following points cannot be judged by machine. They have not yet been tested with real assistive technology, so we make no claims about them:
- Whether a form error is announced by a screen reader in a way that makes the failing field findable — and whether confirmation messages after saving are announced at all.
- Whether the interface can be used at 400% zoom. That every view fits 320 and 375 pixels wide without sideways scrolling has been checked automatically since 8 August 2026 — but real browser zoom also enlarges the text, which is a different case.
- How screen readers announce the sidebar, the account menu, notifications and the quick search — keyboard operation of these is already covered by automated tests; the clarity of the announcement is not.
- Whether the alternative texts for images really describe what is shown. Organisers enter those texts themselves, and they also appear on the public pages.
How we tested
This statement is based on an internal self-assessment. It rests on a full source review on 30 June 2026 with calculated contrast ratios, a remediation pass on 2 July 2026 that fixed all 15 points open at the time, and an automated check with axe-core 4.12 and Playwright 1.61 across the WCAG 2.0/2.1/2.2 Level A and AA rule set — with no rule switched off and no part of the page excluded, last run on 8 August 2026 and additionally at 375 pixels wide. On 14 August 2026 the rule set was widened by four rules the tool classes only as “good practice”; against that widened set only the signed-out pages have been re-checked so far. No screen-reader testing and no external audit have taken place.
What we are doing next
Next come the checks a machine cannot carry out: a pass with screen readers over forms, dialogs, the sidebar and the quick search, and a check at high zoom. Alongside those: the appearance of deleted organisations, and a re-run of the signed-in views against the widened rule set. After that comes the “Leichte Sprache” text version. We will update this page as soon as the status changes.
